Technology in the Math Classroom: Graphing Stories

Graphs can tell stories. Graphs can relate to real world events. Sometimes it is not always possible nor feasible to replicate a real world event in the classroom and then be able to graph it. Pass out a graph, watch one of the videos on the site, and have students graph the story.  Graphs can be linear, increasing, decreasing, constant... Use these videos to launch a graphing unit, review graphing concepts, or as a formative tool. Use technology in the math classroom as a way to differentiate the process used to teach and learn mathematical concepts. How do you use technology in the math classroom?
